This seminar is for graduate students who major in economic geography and related disciplines. After reviewing the progress in theories of economic geography, students will be trained to use analysis methods skillfully by collecting data, analysis and illustration. The methodologies that are emphasized in this seminar include: shift-share analysis, input-output analysis, analytic hierarchy process, and production chain and network analysis.
